Those were the words that Andrew said every year as the leaves started to fall…

“it has started”

you see…the man loved the heat of the summer

the sun shining

the humidity

the heat

what he didn’t like was the cool that was coming

the leaves dropping…btw the my favorite time of the year

he loved the heat on the porch

the heat surrounding him

he grew to love the beach vacations

the sand

the sun

the leaves have started to fall on the driveway

turning yellow and falling

the season is changing

my life is changing

but I will always remember “it has started” the words he spoke as the leaves changed

as the seasons changed

he will forever be my summer guy
