Yesterday, March 12, 2025 marked 8 months…

8 months since I heard your voice

8 months since you told me you loved me

8 months that I saw your heart beat

You know how some emotions steamroll you?

One minute you are folding laundry

the next you are falling apart

I am no stronger today than I was 8 months ago…

but I am am determined…

Determined to move forward

To follow our plans…our path…our future…

but instead of “our” I am following mine

but you will always be beside me

as I blaze a new path
